Armour are items in Atlas Fallen that boost the player's combat stats and capabilities. Each set of armour grants has its own unique trait and offers up to two additional bonus traits depending on how many Essence Stones of a specific category are equipped. Each Armour set has its own power ranking which suggests what Wraiths can be effectively dealt with in combat based on their power level. Armour sets can be upgraded at Anvils with Essence Dust which further boots their stats. Most Armour can be upgraded up to three times, with each upgrade raising its overall power level. An Armour's appearance can be changed by equipping Cosmetic Items or Dyes. Players can also transmog Armour to look like other owned Armour sets.
