Unexpected Aid is a Tier III Survivability Essence Stone in Atlas Fallen. It creates a small chance for the damage from the next hit a player takes to be negated. This effect only has a chance to occur when an Active Essence Stone is used.

Unexpected Aid can be crafted after obtaining Formula XXII which is found in a chest from the A Lofty Cave Treasure Map in Monsalar: The Wildlands. It requires:
- 1x Essence Core
- 2x Aquatic Daelia
- 2x Golden Ore
